Elven Blood
Bloodline Ability: Members of the Doruido clan are blessed with the blood of elves and due to this have a deep connection to nature in its purest form. This allows members of the clan to combine both the doton and suiton elements to form Mokuton, otherwise known as wood release. (this means that the three elements of clan members are predetermined to be Mokuton, Doton and Suiton). In addition to this the Doruido all have pointed ears and sharp features like their elven ancestors. While their ears do allow them to hear the whispers of trees and flowers to literally communicate with nature, this does not grant them a bonus to basic hearing of things around them.
Clan History: Finding their roots among the trees of the forest province long before it was called such the Doruido have been and still are people of nature. They are said to have descended from the mythical elves that lived among the trees in ages past before sailing to the west and carry their physical features the prove it, their pointed ears are the gateway to nature and it is due to this nature of their own that their fated allies also descended from the forest. These allies are known as the Lacerta, people of the scaled lands, and the Kuma, tribe of the fearsome bears of the southern edge. As time progressed both of these clans fell on hard times and the first great war did nothing but pick off their numbers until there was almost nothing left and their home territories were lost. With nowhere to call their home the Doruido called to them and gave them shelter and while the Lacerta were still a tad distant in their ways there was a powerful bond forged between these people that still endures to this day. Eventually the hidden villages came to be and when it came time to pick a plot for the hidden forest the strongest trees and most fertile soil were needed and once again the Doruido clan offered their home to others, from these lands the village was formed and the secrets of singing trees into existence in peaceful ways was passed on to by the first great elven kage to the people that came to serve with him. When the old elf came of death due to his old age a fight broke out concerning who would take power, the general consensus was that the next in line of the great elves would take his grandfather's place but the dragon clan known as Dovahkiin disagreed and claimed the druids were weak willed and would lead the the ruin of the village. The dragon clan were powerful warriors like the kind hearted elves but they had a passion for almost nothing but battle from their very blood and lusted for power at all times. The majority of the clans took the side of the Dovahkiin claiming that it was their pure might that would lead the village to great things while the Lacerta and Kuma backed the Druids and their love an compassion that kept the ruling class as advisers rather than warlords even though they themselves were war loving clans which caused a mess of its own. When it came to it the druids gave the seat to the dragons in good faith, agreeing that this would be acceptable so long as the kage seat changed hands from clan to clan each time. The deal was broken in no time as the second kage of the forest got himself killed in a battle against the country's local tribes in an attempt to steal their land for expansion. When this happened the Dovahkiin accused the Doruido of selling their battle plans to the tribes as they had always sympathized with the locals and favored leaving them to their customs over battle, due to this a bad reputation was given not only to the druids but their two allied clans who rose up in arms with them when the village turned on them. The battle was fierce and both sides shed much blood before everyone agreed to a truce that ended with a new deal that stated the kage seat would be passed on like a monarchy through the dragon clan. Due to the tainted roots of the Morigakure trio of clans they are often viewed with caution even today and while the druids themselves have come to forgive their accusers the Lacerta and Kuma are less so and still have a strong tension between their combined might and the dragons.

Description: No seals, the user charges chakra into one of their hands for the same amount of time they would normally be performing seals for a D rank technique. The user creates a small seed (less than a quarter inch long) which appears in their palm upon completion. The seed is made up of the user's own cells, transformed into vegetation. Because of this, when it is taken into the body or left on a target, it can be used as a "transmission device" which the user can use to track their target as the seeds respond to the users' own chakra. Description: Hand Seals; An extremely versatile move, this technique uses chakra to activate the roots in the ground and, using the user of the technique as a reference point, makes wooden pillars appear from left and right. The wooden pillars join together in a dome-shape (or half dome if the user wishes) with the user at the center. This dome is 25 feet across and as this is a dome it is half that length tall (12.5 feet). The dome grows as a speed of 45 mph. This dome can block any type of technique up to B rank and is resistant to natural fire but will be set ablaze at least C rank katon. The dome's strength lasts for up to 3 posts before it loses the chakra running through it and becomes as durable as paper while retaining its shape until destroyed. Cool down of 5 posts.

Description: No seals, the user charges chakra into one of their arms for the same amount of time they would normally be performing seals for a C rank technique. Daijurin no Jutsu is a technique that changes one's own arm into big trees. Using chakra, the tissues are transformed into trees at the cellular level. Then, by activating the trees, stimulating them to grow rapidly, they lengthen at high speed and fork into many branches. It is possible to capture the enemy with these branches and at the same time, if one changes the ends into sharp stakes, turn them into sharp, spear-like piercing weapons. The user can make up to five stakes/spears from their arm (one for each finger) with each one being able to extend up to sixty feet and pierce stone and C rank Doton. The arm, if set on fire, is able to be turned back to normal at will. This will leave the spear-fingered tree arm still and motionless as dead wood that burns quickly, if the user chooses not to change their arm back they actually start to lose their arm itself. The arm will burn completely in two rounds at which point the arm turns back as a stump at the shoulder. The arm is, if not set ablaze, able to remain transformed for up to three rounds with a seven post cool.

Name: Moku Bunshin no Jutsu (Wood Clone Technique)

Description: Hand Seals; a clone that is created by altering the user's own cells with chakra. It has more endurance than the normal Shadow Clones and doesn't disappear when hit by the enemies' attacks, rather this clone lasts a set number of 6 posts (or until given enough damage to actually kill it like a living being) before the body runs out of chakra that keep it alive and the cells convert into a featureless human shape like a mannequin. Like most every clone technique this clone splits the user's chakra, when the technique is used the 30 chakra for a B rank technique is deducted from the users pool. After this the remaining amount is split in half for each body so that both can use techniques with the left over chakra being returned to the user when the clone is destroyed. Moreover, it has the ability to merge with plants and trees which makes this technique great for reconnaissance missions requiring mass amounts of stealth. They have the ability to travel far distances (one mile) from the user and are able to communicate with the original mentally. By directly touching the Wood Clone with his hand, the user can absorb the information it gathered and changes the shape of the clone into the appearance of anyone they have ever personally met before. Maximum of One clone is created with each use with a six round cool between uses.

Description: Hand Seals; The user converts chakra into timber under the ground and makes it grow rapidly, while forming it into a wooden prison. The size of the prison is based on the user's imagination, while not being able to exceed a maximum size of fifty feet long by thirty wide feet by fifty feet tall. The shape can be anything the user can think of, anything from an insect cage to a great prison, one can make it into whatever they want. When the technique is used the user is only able to create this cage within a limited range, the cage must be within fifty feet of the user and fully forms at a speed of 60 mph. The timber itself is treated with a chakra coating, making its destruction extremely difficult. The chakra coating makes it so that only B rank katon or an A rank non- fire style technique can destroy it. Twice per topic, cool down of six rounds.

Name: Mokuton: Jukai Kōtan (Wood Release: Nativity of a Sea of Trees)

Description: Hand Seals; The user forces trees and other forms of foliage to grow on any surface, easily creating a dense forest anywhere they choose. By generating chakra, the user manoeuvres it as they see fit for attack and defense. With their tremendous life force, the trees can pierce through earthen walls, and extend their branches at their prey in an instant. This forest extends a half mile in every direction from the user but takes 30 seconds to grow completely, the user must stand still at the center of the forest while this happens which makes them open to attacks unless they take some other form of precaution. The trees are connected to the user's chakra which feeds back information to the user's brain so they know everything that is happening within their forest at all times. These trees last for a maximum of ten rounds before the chakra in them dries up and they die. The dead trees wither away and blow off in the wind one round after they are dead. Once per topic.

Name: Shizen no satori (Nature's Enlightenment)

Description: The user must perform hand seals specific to the clan for this technique, these seals are not recognizable outside of the clan itself which gives it a sense of power and mystery to those that watch a Doruido prepare it. When these handseals are completed the user pushes their hands together and pulls them apart to reveal a thick amber colored sap, while this sap is not anything but a sweet tasting paste like jam to the one that created it it is a highly lethal toxin to everyone else that comes in contact with it. In order for this sap to become useful it must first be inserted into the target's body, once this is done their form begins to shift and change from the inside out. The user is able to freely form this paste into a blade the same strength as iron and as big as a kunai. This is the most common means of using the toxin though the paste can be used to cover any weapon as an applied poison, there is however only enough sap for a single dose so no matter how it is used this technique can only affect one target per use.
After the user has inserted this sap into their target through either them ingesting it or being wounded by it almost immediately the target knows that something terrible has happened to them as their bod y grows heavier, over the course of the four post process this technique takes to complete itself the target will gain a mass of 300 pounds (-30% speed) per post. This is due to their insides becoming one with nature and literally converting the cells into those of a tree. For the first post the target feels unbearable pain as their inside reform. By the second post their skin changes color to a dark brown while their hair turns green. On the third post their flesh becomes wood and they can no longer breathe while their hair take on the form of leaves. By the fourth post all movement is cut from them as their feet take root on whatever ground they are standing on and they grow to a height of twenty feet. Branches grow out from their body and they lose all traces of their former humanity a they quite literally become a very natural looking tree. As this technique converts every cell in the body into those of a tree there is no way to reverse the process even through powerful techniques such as the one's own life jutsu. Once per topic.
