Section 3: Clan InformationBloodline: Way of the Dov
Bloodline Ability: The Dovahkiin have the ability to focus chakra into their vocal cords and project jutsu into a vocalization. All members have ninjutsu primary or secondary and have the elements Fuuton, Katon, and Raiton. All stages of the Way of the Dov are passive.
Stage One: Every member of the Dovahkiin has the capability of using shouts and also can change any jutsu into shout form. Specifications will be made upon registering the techniques.
Stage Two: The user must be Special Jounin rank to obtain this stage. The dragon Th'um, or Voice, spreads throughout the user's body, causing it to become more like their dragonkind brethren. The user develops a dragon-like mutation in their body. (User may choose their mutation from the mutation list)
Stage Three: Dovahkiin of S rank can obtain this final stage. In this stage, the Dovahkiin is said to reach their maximum potential. The user's blood transforms into the blood of a dragon, and it begins pulsing through the body at an increased rate. The dragon's blood fills every muscle, and makes them expand. On the outside, it simply looks like the user's muscles increase greatly in size, and muscle tone is much more defined. This causes strength to increase by 60%. The user also further becomes more like a dragon by mutating one more time. (The user can choose another mutation from the Dovahkiin mutation list.)
Each stage stacks, and is permanent.
History of Clan: The clan of the Dovakiin, or the Dragonborn, began long ago with a man named Kriger Dovahkiin. He had been raised by dragons, and taught their language. They taught him how to use chakra to transform jutsu into Shouts using his Voice, or Thu'um. They also blessed him with parts of their souls and gave him dragonlike features such as dragon skin, and dragonlike bones. They also taught him how to bless others with these gifts. He left the dragons when he was 70 years old, and created a clan named after his last name, Dovahkiin, which indeed translated to Dragonborn. His new clan prospered for many years after his death, and they lived in harmony with the dragons. However, after many years, the dragons betrayed them, and began wiping out he Dovahkiin with the belief that the ability to Shout should only be reserved for dragons and dragons only. The Dovahkiin were mostly destroyed until one man, the great grandson of Kriger, created a shout called Dragonrend. He used it to annihilate the dragons whom betrayed his people. Unfortunately, even by his efforts, he was slain by the few remaining dragons not yet murdered by the man driven by revenge. The few remaining dragons scattered across the land. Many centuries passed, and a man named Skar discovered books in a library written by the last Dragonborn. The books were labeled as fiction, but the new Dovahkiin knew they weren't; they knew that this was their actual ancestry. They revived the long forgotten clan, and established it again throughout the new world. They sent out messages inviting any remaining Dovahkiin to join them where they gathered.
Location of Clan: Scattered
Section 4: BackgroundCharacter History: Finnik was born into a traveling circus, where his mother and father both had a.. Excellent career in. Though his parents were specialized in the battle branch of the circus, Finnik was born with a different skill. He was born with he skill to bend his body in ways barely anyone else can. This skill was discovered when he was the age of six, when he was watching the Contortionists of the circus. He watch one do the splits and touch the back of their head with the bottom of their foot. Finnik watched in awe, and eventually tried what he saw. He did it easily, but it caused a lot of pain. He brought this to the attention of the ringleader, and he put Finnik under the teachings of the contortionist that he watched before. Finnik almost immediately told his mother and father about his discovery, they didn't exactly agree with his decision, but they accepted it. Even though Finnik chose a different branch, his parents still taught him the ways of the Dov. The ways they can fight with their voice, and how Finnik will eventually have insane mutations. The contortionist taught him how to stretch properly, and taught him to do it everyday with rough discipline. After a long series of months, Finnik finally mastered it, and was about to perform his first act in the circus. He was standing at the sidelines as his mother and father was going out into the middle to perform their act, and Finnik was right after them. His father and mother walked out in their ridiculous outfits. Since they were in the circus long before Finnik was born, the crowd cheered.. A lot. As they nodded to one of the side workers to release the tiger, the crowd grew silent. The Orange and lack striped beast walked out of the cage, staring at his rivals. The battle went on as normal, That was until his mother turned her back to the tiger, nodding to her father for him to watch her back. Unfortunately, he didn't. Everything went wrong, the tiger charged at his mother with a roar. The creature brought her to the ground while she screamed, and instantly slashed her neck almost instantly. Finnik's father's body filled with rage as he screamed the words, "Yol Toor!". Instantly, a ball of fire flew towards the tiger's now bloody body. The hit caught the tiger on fire, making it flail off Finnik's mother's corpse, and into a dead pile of burning meat. Finnik stood there, not believing what he saw. Later the next day, Finnik and father sat in their cart, his mother absent. His father suddenly grabbed Finnik by his collar, lifting him up against the wall. He kept screaming it was all Finnik's fault, placing his blame on his son. Few minutes, Finnik had bruises all over his face and torso, along with a bruised neck. Finnik was also far away from where the circus was camped, and now in the village of Morigakure. He went straight into the kage;s office, after telling the secretary his business. Once he was in there, he begged for acceptance into the village. Out of mercy, the kage accepted. He was put under custody of a academy teacher, who put him straight into his studies. And finally, at the age of fourteen, Finnik was given the Genin exam.. And past it with ease, becoming a Genin!
RP Sample: Finnik ran amongst the tall and lush trees of Morigakure. The trees had always been famous for their brilliant life and happy feelings they inspired in others. However, the living people in the village simply took it for granted. It wasn't really a think Finnik had completely gotten used to. He enjoyed the simpler things in life, after all. However, he kept running. He would soon come to an immediate stop as he saw the thing that he had been looking for on this adventure. It was a bandit camp up ahead. He ran up a tree as subtley as he could, perching himself on the tip of a branch that was concealed behind leaves and other foliage. He would gently and slowly peek over it in small, fluid motions as not to alert the enemy that he was there. He didn't want to give himself away that quickly. He looked over the camp, observing the challenge that lay before him with much analysis. Before him was a full otu compound. Layed out were several rows of patchy tents. Though it WAS a compound, it wasn't a very good one. All of the shinobi here were obviously poor. All of the bandits were dressed in low quality outfits that were stained to the point you could think that they were used as rags to clean up after spills. They stood in small groups for the most part, chuckling at the other's witty comments. A select few of them, the ones that looked like they were in banditry for all the wrong reasons-- Implying there's a right reason to be a bandit-- were harassing and poking at the small amount of women that were a part of the group, or the prisoners that happened to be female, which Finnik was sure was a bit more than coincidence. They were obviously trying to be the lucky one to have the company and pleasure of a woman. Finnik continued to study the camp for quite a while, even pulling out a sketchpad and scribbling down a general layout of the camp and surrounding area. He nodded before slowly standing, and making a dash back for his home village.
