To Kill a Mockingbird (Takeshi)

I had done it. I had finally, finally done it. The Mangekyou Sharingan was mine. I had achieved the next great step to power of the bloodline of the mighty Uchiha Clan! I was Akuto Uchiha, the only capable user of the Mangekyou Sharingan in the known world. I was the most powerful Uchiha clan member in the entire world, and soon hopefully, I would be as powerful as my leader. Hopefully, however, I would surpass him. I had done as instructed for the good of my cause and the wisdom of my leader, and I had slain my best and only friend for no purpose at all. After the murder, we burnt his body to be naught but ash, and now he drifted with the wind through the Anghor Mountains.

Immediately after the prison-break, Lord Takeshi and I traveled with haste to the now only Empire village known as Morigakure. It was there that the Emperor himself now stayed, and we would soon be ridding the world of his blind ignorance. We stood at the Southern Gate to the elegant village of Morigakure, in which I had used my Sharingan to navigate to through the enchanted forest surrounding it.

I glared into the gate, and felt the looming presence of the monster named Snake stood behind me. I felt a cool breeze gently press against my face and a light mist produced from the rain I guessed had fallen the night prior. The people of the village bustled to and fro, working frantically to expand and build homes for the refugees of the villages we held a direct hand in destroying.

"So much hope.." I thought to myself, "So much hope they have built up, so much hope I will take back."

I stood alongside my Uchiha subordinate, my precious hammer wrapped in bandaged on my back after a short lived trip to the rebellion HQ. My hood was pulled over my head to hide my identity, it would be more convenient if I was able to make my way to the center of this miserable place and then kill people on the way out if I still felt up to it. "Lets go..." I would begin walking towards the office of this village's kage, an eerie mixture of hissing and slithering under my cloak rang with every step I took.

We made it to the Tsuchikage's tower, where the former Dovahkiin patriarch had made his residence, and now where the Emperor of the "Great Empire" now called his residence. We kept walking, not stopping for the guards at the entrance. Our carelessness of them being there obviously caused them to assume that we belonged there, as they barely batted an eye as we kept walking forward. Walking up the stairs to the room we were aiming for, the situation began to get a bit more dicey. As we began to enter the restricted halls on the upper floors, guards began to pay more and more attention to us. One in fact stopped us before we could reach the last flight of stairs.

"Hey, uh, who are you chumps?" He asked condescendingly, "I've never seen you before, and there's no way I'm letting two hooded weirdos like you into the chamber of the Emperor." he said the last remark with a bit of a chuckle. He apparently thought to be above us in importance. A mistake he would soon forget. As he looked more closely into the hood of the Snake, he began shaking in fear as he slowly realized who this man was, as I'm sure news of the Prison incident has spread. He opened his mouth to yell, but before the call for help escaped his mouth, my hand clutched his throat. I looked into his eyes, and my Sharingan began swirling, throwing him into a genjutsu. After I let the man go, he stepped back against the wall, frozen in terror.

I looked back to my associate as if to say, "We have to go before he snaps out of it." And we hurried up the stairs.

I would take a step to be next to this guard and chuckle he was completely out of it but should be wake up before we completed our business there could be trouble. I placed my hand on his shoulder as a small spike of steel curcle out from my sleeve and injected him just above the clavicle. Over the next few seconds I solidified the iron in his blood stream, killing him and then moving said iron to pin him up in a standing position. "I don't think the guards will be to suspicious of one of their own just standing here. Lets move on..." My voice was cold and lacking of emotion, there was no regret or even joy from the killing of this man. I was here to accomplish something and so it would be done.
