Description: A katana sporting a slender black blade made of steel that is 8 feet long. The handle is also made of steel, but it is covered with a black and red threaded grip with an ebony core for increased shock resistance.
Ability (or Abilities): N/A
Durability: Consistency of steel. Meaning that the blade and hilt can withstand anything that steel can also withstand, and will be overwhelmed/broken by anything that can break steel.
History of Item: The Kogot Istiny was purchased by Aeran after leaving the hospital of Aerogakure. He decided then and there that he would create his own tradition of buying a new katana after every defeat.
