Giant Shuriken

Type of Equipment: Throwing Star
Description: A sharpened, four-pronged metal star that is about three inches across (each prong being two feet long) which is useful for throwing. Unlike the smaller variant the giant shuriken are extremely dangerous in a fight and are able to cause massive damage to an opponent. They have an open circle in the center, used for grabbing with a full hand to avoid cutting oneself, or to put thread through. The circle is also a benefit in aerodynamics, as it ensures more accurate trajectories. A Shuriken is able to pierce the entire length on one of it's prongs into a human's flesh it stabbed had enough as well as being able to do the same level of damage to iron, however, no higher grade metal can be pierce by this weapon. A giant shuriken's effective range when thrown is 50 feet.

History of Item: A ninja tool developed by the Uchiha clan to compliment their higher than normal affinity for fighting with shuriken. As time went on this technology spread across the globe and became a common ninja tool for mid-ranged fighters.
