Tonfa Tonfa
Description: This is a pair of two tonfa, otherwise known as billy clubs in some cultures. These weapons are crafted like a medium sized, solid metal rod that generally extends from just above the users knuckles to down near their elbow. Closer to one end of the rod is a handle that is crafted to be the same piece as the rod, this allows for a unique way to be used versus other weapons by holding them by the handle so that they follow the user's arm on the outside which can then be used as a way to block incoming weapons though they do nothing to reduce impact force. These specific tonfa are two and a half feet long and silver colored, being made of metal rather than the cheaper and more traditional wood variant. Decorations of black markings near the handle and as rings down the length of the weapon are present but do nothing to affect usage of the weapons.
Ability (or Abilities): n/a
Durability: Each of these weapons are made of solid titanium, able to easily block things on its level on the hardness scale while being able to break things lower than it in hardness and perfectly block other titanium items. These can be broken by stronger materials.
History of Item: These weapons were given to Takoda nearly a year ago when he graduate and became a genin. The gifting of a weapon is a tradition within the Kuma clan, which weapon is given is determined through observation of the child's fighting style and personality as they grow. Being one who was willing to get in close and deliver powerful finishing blows the tonfa were determined to be the perfect match for him.
