Wakizashi Small Katana (Wakizashi)
Description: The Wakizashi is a fairly standard weapon, being merely a shortened katana. The slender blade is approximately 2 feet in length, and the handle is ten inches, making it able to be a one-handed or two-handed weapon easily. The handle is decorative ebony, and the blade is steel.
Ability (or Abilities): The threads surrounding the handle are infused with chakra, making the ornate wooden handle fireproof. This was a necessity for Aeran, as he often enjoys using fire-style techniques. The ebony sheath is not fireproof, however.
Durability: The blade of steel will break through anything below steel on the hardness scale as the battle drags on, but can withstand only few attacks from anything above. The wooden handle can be broken by a bronze weapon.
History of Item: A simple blade with a simple background. Aeran purchased this Wakizashi from a store in Aerogakure in order to be able to use it in the future.
