A man in a hooded cloak came from around the corner of the space between the buildings, "is that if you can't do something always make sure to have a friend who can help." As I said this the man would reveal chakra strings and manipulate them so that the dead body from the noose inside was grabbing Yuurei's shoulder. Its 'skin' appeared more wooden in this lighting and revealed what it truly was.

I smiled. Those were pretty good lessons to know.

"So basically you're saying you need to toy with them. Make them think about other things and psyche themselves out. And valid point with the friend thing. Knowing and illusionist would be good for this line of work, now that I think about it."

I finished my food as my friend walked his puppet back over to him to fall on his back to be carried. Me and him shook hands and he walked back into the shadows to be gone. "So then, just where are you staying kid? Surely you aren't sleeping on a bench or something."

"I have a small apartment just inside the city limits. It beats this place, that's for fucking sure." I finally got around to sheathing Borei, then stuck my hands in my pockets.

I stood up and clapped my hands together to praise my good meal then looked back to him, "Good, because I am sleeping on a bench but considering all this free training youre getting I assume I can crash with you. Lead on then." I adjusted my clothes and waited for him to either object or to start walking.

I grinned and lead him to my apartment. It was about an hour walk but we got there in ample time. I opened up my door and said,

"Here it is. It's not much, but it's something. There's a nice couch in the den."

I showed him in the right direction, then went to my room and passed the fuck out.

I stretched out on the couch and laid my sword across my chest as I passed out to fall asleep for the first time in days.
