Description: The scythe called Oblivion is a very basic weapon, although scythes in general are not basic weapons amongst most shinobi. This scythe in particular is made of two components (not including aesthetic cloths and linens). Those two components would be ivory and steel. The curved steel blade of the weapon is 3 feet long, and at one end it is connected to a pole that serves as the means of holding the weapon. The handle's core is made of ivory in order to absorb shocks dealt with the blade so as not to hurt the wielder's palms, and the handle is layered with a sheet of steel to make it more durable to be used to block attacks or cause blunt trauma. The handle is 5 1/2 feet long, making this weapon primarily a 2-handed weapon, although it is light enough in weight to be used as a one-handed weapon as well by a Kenjutsu specialist. The end of the handle is tipped with a steel spike beinf 6 inches in length.

Durability: The entire weapon is either composed of steel or is layered with steel, so that is what the scythe can deal with. Anything above steel has the potential to break the scythe should the fight drag on, and anything momentously above steel could easily break it.
History of Item: During Aeran Uchiha's stay in Aerogakure, he visited a local shop to purchase several weapons for the trials in his future. The scythe that he named Oblivion was among these weapons, and it has been a part of his arsenal ever since.
