[Chuunin Exams] Third Phase - Tournament!

Phase Three will be a tournament similar in nature to the one depicted in the Naruto Canon. Remaining participants will be placed in a ladder and will fight against each other until only one person remains. Participants will be judged on their performance throughout the exams and promoted to Chuunin based on their overall performance. The only exception will be the person who wins the tournament, who will automatically be given the rank of Chuunin as a prize. Other than this fight the others serve only to gain another chance to prove yourself to the judges. If a fight takes longer than 72 hours to complete or a participant stops posting it will be declared either a tie or a loss for the member who did not post. The ladder was determined based on previous performance in the exams, estimated battle strength and desired matchups.

The fights will take place in the sky arena, all first round fights will be done with a blank setting with no special features, later rounds may be subject to different environments. THe rules in the battle are simple, you win by either knocking out your opponent, forcing them to admit defeat or if the Proctor steps in to announce a winner due to extreme danger. Each round of battle will happen simaltaneously, if a participant fails to post within 48 hours that battle is deemed forfeited, conversely if a battle takes longer than 72 hours the judges (staff) will decide whether to end the battle in a tie or give it an extension. The victor of a tie will be decided by awarding points and will be discussed with you should this occur.

You are permitted to post at any time in a match as a spectator, these posts are stand alone and you do not need to follow post order with them as they are merely there for flavour and to add some excitement.

YOU MAY NOT BEGIN CHARGING OR HANDSEALS IN YOUR FIRST POST. The first post from EACH PERSON is reserved for greeting and starting the battle. ANY TECHNIQUES, ITEMS OR BENEFITS OF ANY KIND REGISTERED OR PURCHASED AFTER THIS POST CANNOT BE USED IN THE EXAMS.
