The art is based on swift, verstaile and accurate attacks on a target whether it's from the air or the ground. It is a style used by few, and was designed to let the user defeat numerous opponents with one or just a few strikes and its basics revolve around taking out multiple targets at once. The main mechanic of Hiten Mitsurugi-ryu is Battoujutsu. It was passed down to the Seijuro family, by their fathers or grandfathers.

After the user has performed the technique and isn't a S-rank Samurai, his speed decreases by 40% for 3 posts, and can barely walk because of the strain. Afterwards, the user must create a healing topic of 500 words.
Name: Battōjutsu Stage I
Rank of Jutsu: D
Element Affinity: -
Type: Kenjutsu
Distance: -
Description: Passive; this technique is the first stage of iajutsu school of kenjutsu which focuses on quickly drawing one's sword for combat. At this stage the user is able to draw their sword from either their waist or from their back, this allows them to either get into position for fighting or to quickly draw their sword for blocking. This does now however allow for the user to both draw their blade and make an attack all at once, when using this level of iajutsu there is a one second delay between drawing the weapon and the first opportunity to strike. 5 post cool down.
Name: Volleyball Fist
Rank of Jutsu: D
Element Affinity: -
Type: Taijutsu
Distance: Direct Contact
Description: Passive, The user strikes their target with a powerful uppercut style strike which with added chakra is able to knock them fifty feet straight up into the air at 50mph before they reach maximum height and start to fall back down to the ground. A clean hit on a weaker point of the body, such as the jaw, can cause damage by either cracking the bone or dislocating the joint. If the victim doesn't land properly this has the potential to break bones from the force of gravity after a fifty foot fall. Rather than needing to charge chakra for the attack the user exerts all the energy for the technique in an instant with a cool down of 5 posts.

Element Affinity: N/A
Type: Kenjutsu
Distance: Blade length till 10ft
Description: Passive; While the user sheaths his sword and goes into the Battōu-jutsu stance, the sword is swung at the opponent like usual. The true strength from So Ryu Sen is that it is followed up by a second attack, after the first attack from the sword hits, the sheath is also swung at the target in rapid succession. So Ryu Sen is extremely useful when the first attack misses the target (or does not cause enough damage to down an enemy), since the sheath attack gives the user a follow-up or chance to strike at the opponent again.
