The five stages of the initial summoning process:

1.
Hatchling - The first of the animals summoned is a small turtle, fresh out of the egg with its shell still soft. It is only about 5 inches long and an inch from stomach to shell and it matches the color that best suits the user. At this point in its life it has only the basic instinct of heading towards protection, something it feels is capable of defending it which in nature is the ocean. The little turtle when summoned will use its tiny flippers to push itself towards the person who summoned it claiming it as its protector. When it reaches them it will squeak at them harmlessly until it finally disappears after a few minutes.

2. Small Turtle- Next is a turtle that's about a foot and a half long and 6 inches thick. It's shell has no begun to form and is now capable to tapping lightly without causing any harm to the animal itself. Its shell again matches the same color as the turtle before this one. At this stage in its life the turtle will have developed a sense of curiosity and when summoned it will shuffle its way to the summoner and begin to gnaw at their feet curiously. Their jaws are underdeveloped still so the gnawing won't cause any extreme pain and after it's there for a few minutes it gets unsummoned in a cloud of smoke


3. Medium turtle- Following that turtle is a sea turtle that is 3 feet long and about 8 inches thick. Now the turtles shell is hardened enough to be able to handle basic punches and strikes, although there would be no reason to attack it. The shell becomes a deeper version of the color before and a pattern of the users choice. This turtle when summoned does nothing but sit there and move its fins the the ground it was summoned in and stares at the summoner as if studying them before it finally disappears.

4. Large Turtle- This turtle is almost completely grown. It is 5 feet in length and 10 inches thick and now has completely developed jaws and an almost complete shell. The shell could now handle someone hitting it with a kunai or small knife but again there would be no real reason to do so. The turtle now because of its size will attempt to fin its way to the user and bite at something with its completely developed jaw. This could cause extreme pain if its part of the summoners body but their bound to have something to keep him entertained until it inevitably poofs away.

5. Full Grown Sea Turtle: This is the final form of the turtle before the D-rank summon. It is an 8 foot long one foot thick sea turtle with a fully developed jaw and shell complete with the color and pattern specified before hand. The turtle will use its fins to push towards the summoner and begin making a clicking noise when it gets to them, inviting them to sit on its back. After doing so the turtle will click happily with you on its back until it disappears.

Netsu

Family: Turtle
Personality: Netsu has the personality of an adolescent teenage boy. He is very hotheaded and rushes into battle without hesitation and with really no thinking all together. He is best used for situations that require constant bombardment of the enemy with no breaks to rest. He may appear rude to every other person aside the summoner and others in his family but deep down he's a teenage boy who just wants to defend his family.

Base Speed: He is able to walk along at a speed of 25 mph, matching that of the average chunin

Speech: Like most summons Netsu is able to speak like a human being. His voice reflects his punk attitude with a hint of sarcasm in everything he says.

Flames of Adolescence: Due to his extremely powerful connection to katon chakra there is always a sense of heat surrounding Netsu, its pretty faint and only causes those around him to get a tad uncomfortable and eventually start sweating a little bit. Building on this natural ability Netsu can focus this heat around the outer side of his shell for a round to coat his torso in flames that extend twelve inches out and cause second degree burns on contact. This coating lasts for two rounds and has a five round cool down.

Pepper Breath: After a round of charging, Netsu opens his mouth wide and from the base of his throat forms a sphere of flames. He releases this sphere and it expands to a size of ten feet across, moving at a speed of 25 mph. This attack has a range of 100 feet before the flames dissipate. When something is hit by the flames the hit parts of them recieves second degree burns if they hit the outer flames or third degree burns if they are within a foot of the sphere's center. 4 round cool down.

Scorching Ray: After a round of charging Netsu opens his mouth and releases a stream of flame that extends fifty feet long and 12 inches across. This beam of fire is able to cause third degree burns on flesh and heat metal objects so that they are unable to be used for a round. The flames move at a speed of 25 mph. Cool down of five rounds.


B Rank Summon

Jūryō
Rank of Summon: B
Element Affinity: Doton
Family: Turtle
Personality: A cranky old man who reached his peak early in life, Juryo is one of the few turtles old enough to have seen the first great war and although he was just a small child that never got summoned to the fields of battle during that time you would never know it based on his stories that seem to paint him a war hero. During more serious situations he acts less senile and becomes rather aggressive and protective of his summoner as he views them as hatchlings of the new generation regardless of their age.

Base Speed: He is able to walk along at a speed of 35 mph, just a bit slower than the average Tokubetsu Jonin

Speech: Like most summons Juryo is able to speak like a human being. His voice has a sense of age to it, a bit of rasp as well is found that makes him sound like a cranky old grandfather.

Tough Skin: This is not an activated ability but a passive feature of Juryo's body. Through his many centuries of life and deep connection to the doton nature of chakra his body is naturally sturdy and touch. His skin being on par with steel while his shell is the equivalent of tungsten.

Weight Control: Feather: Able to freely control his weight after centuries of study, Jūryō can make himself practically weightless like a feather. This technique reduces his weight to a mere 200 pounds. This massive decrease in weight allows him to move at tremendous speeds, temporarily doubling it for two rounds which allows him to perform a charge attack that is able to rip apart glass strength material as he rams into it. This requires no charge up but has a five round cool down after his weight returns to normal.

Weight Control: Mountain: Able to freely control his weight after centuries of study, Jūryō can make himself gain an insane amount of weight similar to that of a large hill of stone. This technique increases his weight by 10 times so that he weighs 45,000 pounds, unable to be moved by practically anything. In addition to this gain in weight the density it brings about hardens his shell, making it the equivalent of diamond. The drawback of this technique is that even he isnt strong enough to move himself so he must stay in place after activating this but can act as a giant shield if he is between his summoner and their enemy. This techniques lasts one round, has no charge up and has a cool down of 5 posts after his weight returns to normal.


A Rank Summon

Taiho
Rank of Summon: A
Element Affinity: Raiton
Family: Turtle
Personality: Taiho sounds like a stereotypical hardened war veteran. He loves going into battle and will be the first to express it. He fights like any good soldier would, until the opponent surrenders or dies depending on what the summoner orders of him. He will trust in the summoners abilities in battle unless they prove to be incapable, then he will be hesitant to follow their orders.
Size: 11'9'' on all fours 19'0'' while standing 2300 lb

Base Speed: When Taiho 'walks' he releases electrical energy from his leg stumps which causes him o float just a foot or two off the ground. This is not flight though as he can only hover over surfaces we could normally walk so things like water would make him fall. He is able to float along at a speed of 55 mph, matching that of the average Jonin.

Speech: Like most summons Taiho is able to speak like a human being. His voice has a type of rusty feel to it, giving him a voice befitting his old age.

Charge Shot: After charging for a round Taiho's canon starts to glow brightly for just a second before a powerful shot it released. This shot is a crescent of raiton energy that is twenty feet across. Whenever this shot hits something within it's three hundred foot range it causes an explosion that forms a sphere of electrical energy forty feet across, everything within the sphere recieving third degree electrical burns. Once per summoning.

Human Cannonball: In order to perform this move the summoner must mount Taiho and stand or kneel on his canon while he charges for a round. When charging is complete the summoner moves to lay down with their legs straight and their arms at their sides, at this point they receive a coating of protective turtle chakra that allows them to slam into anything up to the hardness of steel and not be injured. Taiho launches his summoner as a projectile within a range of 500 feet at a speed of 100 mph. The power of this launch is enough to shred through iron and steel as well as shattering the bones of anything they come into contact with. After the summoner lands their protective layer of chakra fades away and they are free to move though they are slightly disoriented for a round. 4 round cool down.

Static Shield: After charging for a round Taiho releases a wave of static chakra from his body that forms a spherical shield of electricity that looks like a turtle shell. This shield extends out fifty feet from his body (including underground). This shield completely blocks out chakra-based attacks (ninjutsu and genjutsu) though physical things are still able to pass through easily. Whenever a living thing passes through though they are shocked by the static energy and move at 50% speed for a post. This technique lasts a total of three posts and can only be used once per summoning.
