Section 2: Personality

Personality: Shaelin is a stubborn girl, prone to arguing until her voice runs dry and even then unwilling to concede defeat. This stubbornness dominates her life and is seen as both positive and negative aspect of her life. She will never admit defeat in any sort of confrontation, and if she is ever forced to it will cause her to break down emotionally, and will scar her for a while afterwards. This comes from her early childhood and remains a part of her to this day. This also means that she doesn't know when to back down from a fight, often going to great lengths to prove that she is right, or that she is stronger no matter the strength of her opponent. Shaelin is also ruthless, much of her time in the underground hardened her, and she will do anything she can to get her way, even if it means killing or breaking someone psychologically.
Likes: Shaelin likes nice clothes, and enjoys dressing up. Many people have said that she has a classy sense of style, often not wearing revealing clothes. She enjoys spending time with her family when she gets to see them, and regrets the actions that have pulled them apart. Not a soft girl Shaelin likes to rough it when the occasion demands, her underground connections making her rather rough, and she enjoys having to survive by the skin of her teeth.
Dislikes/Fears: She fears being made redundant, and can think of nothing worse than having no purpose in life and having no one else need her anymore. This fear is so complete that when she's not on mission Shaelin feel anxious and strives to find another, or something to fill her time. She dislikes weaklings who rely on others to get by, and looks down on those who try to sweet talk their way through life with honeyed words.
Motivation: Shaelin's motivation is herself. Her drive to be better than anyone, especially herself pushes her forward in everything she does. This obsession has become her sole reason for her existence, and her need to prove herself overides everything else she does.


Section 3: Clan Information

Bloodline: Thor's Blessing
Bloodline Ability:

Stage One: The thunder of Thor is said to course through the veins of his people. All members of the Stormbloods can trigger this stage of their Kekkei Genkai. The eyes of the user begin to glow a shade of yellow, making them appear to look like small lightbulbs. Although, it is simply the electricity of their bodies being amplified and shown through their eyes. The electrons in each molecule and atom making the user begin to vibrate faster than normal, making electrical impulses sent from the brain to the muscles and nerves of the body faster. Thus, it increases reaction time and speed of the user by 20%.

Stage Two: Now the valence shells of electrons begin to over-react and overproduce electronic waves throughout the body of the user. All members of the Stormblood clan of Chuunin rank or higher can access this stage. The hair of the user stands on end because of static electricity, and the hair becomes a bright yellow color. The overproducing electrons in the outer shells of the atoms cause the atoms to split and multiply in the muscles, causing them to grow rapidly. Strength of the user is increased by 20%. In order to reach be able to access this stage, the user must train for mastery of it in a 500 word training topic.

Stage Three: The final stage of Thor's Blessing is a continuation of the first two stages, and is the full potential of power extenuation of the Stormblood people. The rapid movement of electrons, as well as overproducing of electronic waves by them, causes the strength and speed to both be raised by 40%. The user can now feel electrons of objects around them. Using this ability, they can read where the electrons are jumping to when an object or person moves, further increasing the user's ability to predict movements. In other words, their reaction time is increased by 40%. The user is also coated in a constant field of electricity, causing lightning shots to be seen shooting across the body of the user randomly. If someone were to touch a user in this stage, it would numb whatever was used to touch the user for a single post afterwards. This only applies to body parts however, because the electric current on the outside of the user is too weak to course through any inanimate object. In order to access this stage, the user must be of Special Jounin rank or higher, and must have completed an 800-word training topic to master it.
History of Clan: The Stormblood clan has been in Arashigakure since the village was founded. It has no proven founder, but it is said that Thor himself actually made the Stormblood clan, and that he himself was one. Thor is the god of thunder, and the people of the Stormbloods worship him as their hero and deity. In fact, the symbol of his hammer is also the clan symbol, and it tattooed on all of their necks. They strictly believe in the Norse religion, as well as all of the gods that come with it, but Thor is their primary god. They have always lived happily in the village of the storm, and today, they continue to flourish.

Section 4: Background

Character History:

You were born as the eldest child of a wealthy family in a town several days travel from where the village was formed, your father owned a profitable medical supply company and lived in the upper class area of the settlement. As a young child you were spoilt by your parents and lived in a luxurious lifestyle. Your earliest memories are of visiting the many operas and museums with your parents and their business associates. At the age of four your mother gave birth to twins, a boy and a girl, and you developed a strong protective relationship for them.

When she was a child Shaelin was by no means a shinobi, though she was from a clan of people who had for generations been ninja she himself showed no talent at all and while this frustrated him to no end she dealt with it, even though she did this in less than easy ways. Before she hit her teen years her family's house was struck by a powerful bolt of lightning and soon after her baby brother was born, though her brother was distant from the family she could tell she cared about them and in turn became close to him. she admired her brother's affinity for raiton style techniques and wished very much to learn how to perform them. This new nature in her body was something that excited her and she showed her family, while they were impressed and amazed that she had pulled off something so amazing she became depressed for a long time after since she was told that the age for academy students was much lower than she now was and would never be accepted even had she been born the daughter of the kage. she joined ranks in the Yakuza operating nearby in Chokigakure, this influenced her towards an evil lifestyle but she refused to let it overtake her, eventually she saw the error in her ways and gave it up but was drawn back into it through threats against her brother. They had threatened to kill the boy and although Shaelin would have been able to take down a few of them with ease her chakra reserves simply weren't enough and she would be killed for sure since these worms enjoyed swarming their enemies.

she continued on a few years living her life as a gangster in the shadows, her Raiton nature grew and eventually she learned two more though neither were quite as powerful as her first. She and her brother slowly grew closer and trained together a few times even though Shaelin was still distant from the family for the most part. Then came the day of the flood. On this day Renga had been outside watching the water rise as she normally did but a powerful gale wind blew him into the rushing pseudo river and he was starting to be dragged away, Shaelin was close by and jumped into the water to save him. she succeeded and got him back on the front of the house but as she herself was climbing up the river gained speed and she was rushed away, she looked back and saw her brother reaching out as she did the same but it was no use. she was by no means a ninja and couldn't combat this natural disaster so even against her constant struggles she would be trapped and now tired. As she lost the rest of her strength she passed out, sinking into the water and she saw her life flash before her eyes. These were, as she thought, the last moments of her life and prepared himself to make her trip to the underworld but somehow when she opened her eyes she didn't think she had died.
