Bloodline: Sharingan, Mangekyo Sharingan

Bloodline Ability: The first of the Sharingan's powers is being able to see the flow of chakra. The Sharingan can tell if a person is under a genjutsu because the person's chakra flow would be irregular.

The Sharingan's second-most prominent ability grants the user an incredible clarity of perception, allowing them to easily recognize genjutsu and different forms of chakra, though not to the same extent as the Byakugan. This also allows the user to pick up on subtle details, enabling them to read lip movements or mimic something like pencil movements. As the Sharingan evolves, gaining more tomoe seals, this ability extends to being able to track fast-moving objects before finally giving some amount of predictive capabilities to the user. However, even though the user may be able to see an attack or know it is coming, their body may not have time to react.

The Sharingan's third and most well-known ability is that it grants the user the ability to memorize any technique that he or she witnesses, apart from other kekkei genkai techniques. The user can memorize ninjutsu, genjutsu, and taijutsu with near perfect accuracy, allowing the user to use the techniques as their own, or even modify them to create their own new techniques. In order to reproduce a copied jutsu, however, one must have the necessary skill or ability to perform them. In addition to physical skill and kekkei genkai techniques, the Sharingan cannot reproduce jutsu dependent on other factors, such as summons that the user has not signed a contract with. (Jutsu is only able to be copied by Ninja in the Copy Wheel Path, but basic fighting movements using fists, feet, swords, etc as well as behavioral movements can be copied by every Uchiha)

The Sharingan's final commonly-used ability is capable of inducing a unique brand of hypnosis that involves suggesting actions and thoughts to the opponent through genjutsu cast by simple eye contact. More advanced Sharingan users can take the hypnosis ability even further to the point where a powerful summons or even Bijuu’s may be controlled. When this was used against summons and the Bijuu’s their eyes took on the tomoe pattern of the users' Sharingan while under hypnotic influence.

The hypnotic ability coupled with the other aspects of the Sharingan, can make the user appear as if they can "see the future". First, the user must perfectly mimic every move their opponent makes and possibly their thoughts and words through careful observation. Then, they suggest an action to the opponent such as hand seals for a jutsu that the opponent and Sharingan user already know and copy that. With these things done, the user can complete the action even before the opponent does, possibly using the Sharingan's genjutsu to confuse or delay them. As with other genjutsu, genjutsu cast by the Sharingan are capable of putting an opponent to sleep, inducing paralysis, replaying memories to someone else, or creating various illusions to deceive someone. The potency of the Sharingan's illusion is dependent on the user's knowledge and skill with implementing genjutsu.

Although the Sharingan consumes the user's chakra while active, the chakra levels that the user must exert is so insignificant that they can keep it active constantly. However, when a Sharingan is transplanted to a non-Uchiha, the chakra drain is significant, leading them to cover it up when not in use, to stop the drain.

The Mangekyō Sharingan gives the user access to several powerful techniques, including the powerful fire jutsu Amaterasu and the almost unbreakable genjutsu Tsukuyomi. The Mangekyō Sharingan erodes the eyesight of its users, eventually causing blindness, which can be prevented by obtaining another pair of Mangekyō Sharingan from a sibling. The new Sharingan is dubbed the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan

Tsukuyomi Path: A path enveloped in Deceit and Trickery

Description: The user decrypts a genjutsu that has been applied onto them and casts back a technique with identical effects onto the opponent. It's a form of illusion reversal, but in order to instantly read through a technique and cast it in return, the Sharingan's power is necessary. As genjutsu is initially used to confuse the enemy, this technique, which sends it right back to its caster, deals a high amount of mental damage, more than anything else. Does not require handseals, but does require third-tomoe Sharingan. The post length of the genjutsu and methods of escape for the genjutsu are the same.

Name: Dusk Crow Flicker

Description: This jutsu requires one handseal. This jutsu is a high-speed movement technique, allowing a ninja to move short to long distances at an almost untraceable speed. To an observer, it appears as if the user has teleported. It is accomplished by using chakra to temporarily vitalise the body and move at extreme speeds. The amount of chakra required depends on the overall distance and elevation between the user and the intended destination. (Once per topic)

This technique is exclusive to the Uchiha clan, meaning if the Uchiha chooses the Tsukuyomi path, they cannot use any other form of Body Flicker Technique. The user, while appearing to teleport, appears to be dispersing their body into countless crows that fly off into the sky. Crows then fly down from the sky to mash together to form the Uchiha again where the body flicker stops them, making it look like they became crows and flew to a separate location, but really it was just a normal body flicker.

Description: This genjutsu requires the Sharingan and eye contact to be activated. The illusion traps the victim in a dark empty space where their body is made of paper that burns from toe to head while the user is watching. The technique will make it harder for the target to move properly, but the opponent can use Kai to escape if done within two posts. After every post they loose more movement. The first post their feet and hands burn off. Because of this it is extremely difficult to hold any weapon, or coordinate their moves. The second post their arms and legs burn off. Simple actions like walking and and waving ones arms is extremely difficult, and at this stage it is impossible to hold any weapon. The third post the torso starts to burn. This just causes terror as the person feels as if their actually going to burn to death. Anyone who is below the users level will get a 20% decrease in speed for 3 posts after the genjutsu is finished. Those on the user's level will get a 10% decrease in speed that lasts for 3 posts. Anyone above the users rank will get no decrease in speed. Requires handseals. This genjutsu lasts for three posts. 4 post cooldown. Can also be broken with pain.

Description: The user casts a genjutsu on the target so that it appears that crows are swarming down around them, effectively blinding the target to what the opponent is doing. The user can cause the crows to appear any where around the opponent, and can even hide shuriken and other thrown weapons in the crows, giving the genjutsu an almost real effect. Last for two posts with a 4 post cooldown. Can be broken by kai but not pain. Does not require eye contact.

Description: Kage Bunshin is a Jounin level Ninjutsu technique. When Naruto stole the scroll of seals, he learned this technique as well. The normal Bunshin technique creates a copy of the ninja that lacks any substance. The Kage Bunshin distributes the ninja's chakra evenly among the clones and creates a real copy with form and substance. The clone itself can also utilize any jutsu the original ninja knows. When the clone finally disperses, any new knowledge it has gained is passed back to the original ninja and any additional clones. This makes Kage Bunshin an excellent training method if the ninja has the chakra capacity and stamina to maintain the Kage Bunshins for an extended period of time. This allows the ninja to essentially reduce the time it takes to train and learn with each clone added. This is especially true when used with Tajuu Kage Bunshin. The user can only create a maximum of 6 shadow clones, and must distribute their chakra between them. That means if they have 130 chakra, and summon 4 clones, that means the technique will subtract 30 and have 100 chakra left to distribute between the clones. This means that each clone will have 20 chakra, including the user. If a clone is destroyed the chakra returns to the user.

This version is specific to the Uchiha, and if the Uchiha chooses the Tsukuyomi path, they cannot use any other cloning technique. An imaginary crow flies from the heavens and explodes onto the ground, revealing a clone. The imaginary crow and explosion are extremely minor forms of Genjutsu, and require no sense contact or chakra. The only chakra needed is in creating the actual clone, just like a normal shadow clone. So basically, it's a shadow clone with the Uchiha flare.

Description: This technique requires a charge up. This highly advanced technique can not be used extensively because of the toll it places on the user, and can only be used on an Uchiha clan member who has gained Mangekyou Sharingan and trains extensively in genjutsu. To utilize the illusion, the clan member will look into the eyes of his opponent and cast a Genjutsu spell on them. The illusion takes place in the mind of the one affected, while under the jutsu the victim is at the total mercy of the user. The user has full control over space and time in the jutsu and can place the one affected through any hell they desire. The technique itself only lasts for but a second in reality, but the one affected could have lasted through several days of torture. In order to break free of this powerful genjutsu, a deep wound must be made on the target, or three S-rank Kai techniques must be used in succession. If the target breaks free, the Uchiha using Tsukuyomi will become one step closer to blindness. If three people break free from Tsukuyomi in the Uchiha clansmen's lifetime, the Mangekyou Sharingan will become blind. The caster is unable to move while casting the jutsu.

Shuriken Seal

Description: After the user has completed the required handseals, he/she will touch the back of their hand. A seal with the symbol for "projectile" will appear, surrounded by wispy black markings that give it the appearance of shadowy tendrils. For a cost of five extra chakra, a shuriken can be made out of chakra, and will appear in the user's hand. The user then can throw the shuriken at the opponent. The shuriken's appearance is a translucent blue, making it harder to see but not invisible. Because the shuriken is made of chakra, it does not have the strength of a normal shuriken. It can only cut a maximum of one inch into human skin, and have inch long cuts. There is no limit to how many shurikens can be summoned, but the user will need to make sure not to exhaust their chakra reserves. Lasts for 4 posts with a 2 post cooldown. The user can choose to extend the seal by another 4 posts, but will cost another 10 chakra. The cooldown doubles for every time the seal is extended.

Elemental Infusion

Description: The user will charge up elemental chakra into the hands. After the needed charge the symbol for the element that had been charged will appear on the user's dominant palm, surrounded by shadowy tendrils, wrapping around the fingers and the knuckles. The user can then infuse any of his/her or ally's weapon with the charged element. The weapon then gains the element's ability, which lasts for 3 posts. The jutsu can also be used to enhance their own fuuin seals, but this jutsu will need to be activated first. The seal last for 5 posts, with a cooldown of 6 posts. Only one element can be active at a time

Katon Infusion: Weapons imbued become wrapped in small flames. The flames can ignite wood and other flammable items, such as cloth or wool. Any weapon imbued with fire can cause second degree burns on contact, but only on the area hit and affected. If the same area is hit two more times, the burns can escalate to third degree. Because of the burns inflicted, a sharp weapon will not be able to cut in flesh as effectively. Weapons will cut and stab into flesh one inch less. Hammers and other blunt weapons not affected by the reduction.

Raiton Infusion: Weapons imbued crackle and become enveloped in light blue electricity. Weapons can cause 1st degree electrical burns and numb a five-inch area for one post. If a bicep or other major locomotive muscle is hit, that muscle's effectiveness will be reduced by 10%. (If a leg is hit then an opponent's speed will be reduced by 10%. If an arm is hit strength will be reduced by 10%. Does not affect nervous system or the hands.) Imbued weapons can conduct onto other metals, and cause the numbing sensation.

Suition: Weapons imbued will be enveloped by swirling water. Imbued weapons can be expanded by 1/3 of its normal size and strength is increased by 10%. Swords and other sharp weapons can cut into flesh one inch deeper. However, the added weight will decrease the weapon's speed by 10%. Any weapon thrown into a body of water can be controlled by the caster of the seal, but only 25 feet away from the caster. Shuriken or kunai can be launched out of the water at a speed of 25 mph.

Eye Seal

Description: After the required handseals the user will touch either his/her right or left eye. The eye will the be covered with a shadowy "Eye" seal, and the half of the face the eye is located will be covered with shadowy tendrils. On the dominant palm of the hand the same "Eye" seal will appear, surrounding by the same tendrils. For a cost of 20 chakra, the user can place the seal on any object and will have the ability to see through it. This can be used to have a combat advantage by seeing through different angles. The seal also has the ability to transfer any doujutsu used by the user. (If an opponent looks at the seal and an eye-contact genjutsu is activated, the genjutsu can activate through the seal.) During the jutsu, the eye used is ineffective for the duration of the jutsu and has a huge blind spot. Depth perception is also affected, so speed is reduced by 20% because the user will be more cautious as they move around. Jutsu lasts for 6 posts with an 8 post cooldown.
