[Chuunin Exams] First Phase - Finnik

"You are lead to a door within the heights of the Lonely Tower. The man who leads you tells you to wait, count to ten and then enter the room. he walks off and leaves you alone to your own devices. True to your word you wait for ten seconds then travel inside. You find yourself in a large room room separated into two halves by a gaping hole in the centre of the floor. A narrow bridge crosses the 30 ft gap and a light wind blows through numerous large windows on either side of the room, a quick glance within the pit reveals it drops down into darkness but you can just make out a large set of spikes that would surely impale you if you were to fall down. Standing in front of a door directly opposite you is The Proctor, he smiles and addresses you. "Welcome participant, to the first phase of the Chuunin Exams. Your task in this phase is simple -ahem." he gestures to the door behind him. "You are to simply cross the room and enter this door -ahem." His grin turns wicked and he lowers his head to look at you from below his hat. "You will not be told of any traps and dangers that could exist in this room, it is up to you to decide how you cross, you must simply enter the opposing door within an hour, failure to do so will result in failing the exams - ahem." "

Finnik would watch the man walk away, a unusually large grin on his face. He was lucky to be here after all, since he was one of the last people to sign up. He continued to stand in same spot, counting to ten in his head as he cracked his knuckles through his battle gloves. He had on his usual attire, a orange shirt and black pants and shoes, along with his messed up white hair. After reaching ten, he opened the door, and walked into the room. He immediately look at his surroundings, making quick notes of the basic features that could be seen by the naked eye. Windows, bridge, spike pit, other then that there was nothing. It was the most boring room Finnik has ever seen, except for the spike pit, spike pits are cool.

Finnik then listened to The Proctor's speech, wanting to laugh at the part where he said you wouldn't be told of any traps, since it makes it obvious that there are traps in the room. Finnik then went to the right side of the room, studying the wall. It was a smooth white one, with three windows spread about it, one near Finnik, one above the spike pit, and one on the other side of the room. He shook his head at the idea and walked back to the easy solution. The bridge.

As Finnik stood in front of the bridge, he didn't really feel as if this was the best, and it wasn't... Finnik began to say to himself,"My name is Finnik Dovahkiin, and my motto is... EXTREEEEEEME!" Instantly after that, he would charge forward onto the bridge. His feet padded along, going a foot at a time. His foot caught a few wires on the way, mostly making the sound of a whooshing log. He look to his sides, not seeing any of the wooden swings of death, but he was uncertain. About ten feet, a louder clicking sound rang out around the room. It was different from the other ones, being the sound or the fact he didn't see anything to his side. Why not?, he asked himself as he dove to the other side, coming a little short, but rolled the rest of the way. The Proctor, who stood in his path, simply sidestepped to avoid being ran over. Finnik suddenly heard a loud booming sound behind, along with the sound of shattered wood. He got on his feet, looking behind him to see that the bridge has gone away to the village of spike pit. Finnik looked at the Proctor, who simply nodded his large, abnormal pumpkin head. "With early minutes to spare, kid." He said. Finnik only nodded to him, and went through the door, he was done.
