Type of Equipment: Weapon - Hand and a Half sword
Description: The Maw is an irregularly curved blade with several teeth along it's sharp edge. The blade itself is said to have been made from the jawbone of a Leviathan, a mythical beast that lives in the lowest depths of ocean's so deep that no man has ever seen the creatures that reside within. The 5 foot blade is a pale brown and has the unique property of not gleaming, as metal or polished bone would, instead it is almost dull, light seeming to slide off of it's edge. The ornate handle is a form of blue ivory, its origins unknown, and the base of the blade is gilded in a substance known as Blood Gold, a dark reddish brown metal that has a subtle gleam. The blade was forged in the First Era as a mighty weapon to be used to fight the monsters of the world, and it's wielders have been known throughout history as legends.
Ability (or Abilities): The Maw has a unique ability infused into the blade itself, it's ability is subtle, and many have dismissed it as inferior, but those who know of it's true power fear it. The teeth on the sharp edge of the blade are able to 'bite' into almost any substance, including chakra and jutsu with a physical form. This even extends to viscous materials such as liquids or fire. Once 'bitten' a substance will not pass the blade, but will be attached to it's edge and can be redirected at the will of the user just like a regular sword strike. These teeth can even 'bite' air and drag it around, allowing the user to throw large wind strikes at an opponent with minimal effort. Nearly anything with any form of physical presence can be 'bitten' and manipulated, making this weapon one to be feared. As with all of the seven swords the Maw is indestructible, the reinforced bones of the leviathan being a substance that cannot be broken.
Durability: TheLeviathan's Maw is the Fourth of the Seven Swords of the Divide, and as such matches the durability of each blade. The Maw is indestructible, and is among the only seven indestructible items in history. It can withstand anything, including jutsu. It cannot cut through everything however, it can cut through anything up to diamond, but can chip diamond, just as every sword of the Seven can do apart from the fourth.

The Summit Ocean
The Leviathan's Maw
Province: Tundra Province
Sub-Location: The Summit Ocean
Dungeon Description: Located deep within the tundra province is a location known as the the Summit Ocean. The location has been hidden in the clouds for eons, on the top of a mountain. This "ocean" is actually a massive lake several miles wide on a mountain top. This water, however, remains unfrozen. In the center of the lake is a large temple where the sword is held, but the only way to get there is by boat. RP for 500 words rowing a boat to the center of the Summit Ocean. Once to the temple, you must battle and defeat the mini-boss to venture into the atrium where the blade is displayed. They can then claim the blade... but wait, that's too easy. As soon as you take the blade, the temple begins to shake and collapse. You must escape only to find the boss of the waiting for you. You must defeat the boss to escape with "The Maw" alive.
Mini-boss The Behemoth

The Behemoth is A Rank in strength and is 8' tall and approximately 500 pounds. The horns on its head are each 2'6" in length and are capable of shredding titanium with ease. It has a mastery of all doton jutsu up to A Rank. It is also 20% faster than a normal A rank shinobi. The Behemoth also has a special technique where it charges at 200 MPH and can crash through any substance softer than corundum. A hit by this technique would gore a human severely and break dozens of ribs.

Boss: The Leviathan

The Leviathan is a massive sea beast that is over 800 feet in length. This beast has four tentacles that come off it's back, each 100 feet in length. The beast swims through the ocean at speeds 20% higher than a standard S Rank shinobi. It also is an S Rank master of Suiton jutsu, possessing a 20% boost in all suiton jutsu power. Once per topic the Leviathan can create a massive typhoon, causing blinding downpours of rain so powerful that the droplets cause bruising. The thunder can leave a normal human shell shocked, and the lightning is capable of reducing a human to ashes. The beasts scales are also hard as steel, being immune to most taijutsu and reducing A and S rank taijutsu by 20%.

Extra Loot: -30k ryo (each participating member is paid this amount)
-A horn of the behemoth to make into a sword (this will be free as long as it is under 12000 ryo)
-A pendant with an eye of the leviathan (the eyes are tiny) that increases suiton jutsu power by 20% (free as long as it's under 15000 ryo)
