Type of Equipment: Pair of twin hook swords
Description: The legendary third blade of the divide is not a single weapon, but a pair. They are 4 foot in length each and are only an eighth of an inch thick. They are comprised of heavily compacted black metal that seem to always give off a dim blue glow even in the dark. The bottom foot of the sword composes of the hilt, but the hand hold is covered by a large metal coating that is as sharp as the blade itself, therefore acts as an extension to the blade allowing the hilt to be used for combat. Protruding from the bottom the hilt of both blades is an 8 inch long spike that's the same thickness as the blade itself to increase its cutting capability even more. Wrapped around the handholds are blue rubber coatings to allow for better grip.
Ability (or Abilities):The Divide's Influence: Like all the blades of the divide the twin hooks imbue bonus knowledge of Kenjutsu into the user, allowing their Kenjutsu prowess to be boosted by 20%.
The Cleansing Waters of the Ocean: The Twin Hooks of Mercury have a unique ability that separates itself from the other blades. Like the waters from which it originates these swords have the ability to cleanse, but they cleanse chakra unlike the ocean. This means that while the blades are on the users person they're chakra essentially does not exist. It can't be detected by sensor ninja, their chakra signature can't be seen by any doujutsu, and it effectively masks the true strength of the user making a fight with the wielder like sailing on the open sea, unpredictable.
The Howling Winds of Neptune: This blade also contains a more destructive power. As it was designed to if these blades are hooked together and spun around for a single post a vortex of wind forms around the user with an 8 foot radius with the user in the center. The wind is capable of drawing in anything within a 10 foot range of the circular cyclone gets sucked into the vortex and the force can fracture bone and they receive half inch deep cuts all over their body. If they are caught within the 8 foot radius of the user the force can break bone, bruise organs, half inch deep cuts all around their body and send the person flying back a minimum of 80 feet. Cooldown of 5 posts twice per topic.
Durability: Like all the other swords of the divide these blades are indestructible and can chip diamond.
History of Item: The legend goes that these blades were forged by the hands of the god Vulcan in his forge. He was instructed by the gods to create a powerful pair of swords to gift to the mortals to test not only their skill in combat, but to also test how they handled being given immense power. The mortals chosen were the brothers Remus and Romulus. Each of them were given a blade and both used the power to form villages of followers. They both were prospering and their followers were happy, but the leaders most certainly were not. They could sense that the power they possessed was incomplete and eventually put together that without the other sword, they were not as strong as they could be. They failed the test of the gods, they had began a war between the two villages in an attempt to steal each others blade to make their power whole. In the final battle of the war they both had managed to completely destroy each others armies until only the twins remained. They fought mercilessly against each other as if they had completely forgot about their blood bond, they were only focused on the power they could possess should they succeed. The battle ended with the brothers slitting each others throats and both dying, having the power they could have possessed stripped from them forever. The gods decided that the power was too great for the mortals and banished it to the bottom of the sea, guarded by the ruler of the sea Neptune himself to prevent mortal hands from ever touching it again.
The Underruins
Sword: The Twin Hooks of the Vulcan
Province: Deep Sea Province
Sub-Location: In the vault deep within the Underruins
Dungeon Description: This dungeon has four parts to it each having their own obstacles and objectives to them. The final word count of the entire topic (Not including the Dungeon Boss) should be 3500 words.
The Gate to the Abyss: The first part of the dungeon is right after breaking through to the next room from the entry chamber. The room itself is nothing but an 100x100 yard room with a large rushing tunnel of water heading down for 4 miles at 100 mph into the next room. The pursuer of the blade must take one of the surfboards or inner tubes and jump into the water and ride the current all the way down, or they would be sucked under by the current. While going down this tunnel you are constantly being pursued by beings also on surfboards that resemble rotting corpses of roman soliders that will be attempting to end you by knocking you into the swift current below. They have blades the durability of steel.
The Lair of the Kraken: The long four mile chamber empties into a circular room with a dome like cieling 700 feet up and the room itself has a three hundred foot radius. The room is decorated with ornate engravings on the wall depicting Roman mythological stories. The room has 3 large waterfalls emptying into it not including the tunnel from the previous room. They empty into a pool that goes down seemingly endless ly, but the water is calm and still making it easy for ninja to walk on. In the center of the room however there is a simple circular platform made of stone with a radius of 50 feet that is the only semi "safe" place from the inhabitant of this room, the Kraken.
The Warriors Pass: If you manage to defeat the Kraken you will have to continue through a human sized water slide at the wall near the top of the pool. After sliding through it they will land in a long narrow passage about 2 miles long and only about 125 feet across. Lined up in this narrow hallway will be what seems to be an endless line of the "dead" roman soliders, all with steel grade chest plates and helmets along with spears and shields of the same durability. They are lined up all the way down the 2 mile stretch up until the vault containing the blades at the end, and you have to find a way to bust through them.
The Vault: After reaching the vault, the first issue is busting through the massive 30 foot thick stone door with no handle. When you break through there you will be in a room about the same size as the room containing the kraken, only this time there is no pool of water and the walls are simply ornate with precious gems put togethe in a pattern to resemble 4 of the roman gods, on the south wall Pluto, north wall Jupiter, on the east wall Neptune, and on the west wall Mars. In the center of the room is a statue of Neptune with the Twin Hooks of Vulcan in its hands and upon touching the blades the statue becomes a little more than just that...
Mini-boss The Kraken is a beast with 8 large tentacles similar to that of an octopus, the tentacles are much longer than its body, reaching 70 feet in length and 6 feet in diameter. The Krakens body is only about 50 feet tall and it has a large beak that is capable of shattering steel and puncturing titanium, and if you're caught in its jaws you are more than likely going to die the downside to this is that it's pecking speed is very slow so this is quite easy to dodge. its scales are moderately hard, being of steel consistency and covering all of its body aside from its eyes. It's tentacles are much faster on the other hand and with a single twap it can bend steel, if you are hit by one of them it will break bones and bruise organs and if you are caught inside one of the tentacles it could squeeze enough to shatter bone and rupture internal organs, almost certainly causing death.
Chakra Pool: 400
Boss: - Spoiler:
Neptune: King of the Sea
Diety form: In this form the king of the sea is 100 feet tall and is comprised of completely water aside from his titanium grade chest plate (Behind which is his mortal form). This composition of water makes him completely immune to katon jutsu but also highly vulnerable to raiton. He has a 50 foot trident that is capable of shredding titanium. He is connected to three horses made entirely out of water that connect to his front and both sides, these horses can use suiton jutsu. As a whole he is capable of using any suiton jutsu that requires handseals by charging instead. This form must be "killed" before one can start the second part of the fight.
Mortal Form: After "killing" the deity form Neptune will show himself. He is S-rank in all aspects except strength, in which he is 2 ranks above S-rank. He know uses your own treasure against you, he wields the Twin Hooks of Vulcan with complete knowledge of them. Along with that he is capable of of using all suiton jutsu he has with charging just like the giant form and with enough concentration can punch someone hard enough to break bone and send someone flying 50 feet back. After killing this form you may claim your prize from his dead body, The Twin Hooks of Vulcan.
Chakra Pool: 600
Extra Loot: Ryo reward of 30,000 to be distributed among all that participate unless it's done solo. Neptune's trident is left unattended and can be broken apart to forge weapons that are slightly weaker than the original.
