Chikagakure is hidden by a massive door, that looks simply like part of the mountain. Upon knocking and saying the correct passphrase, one can enter the village hidden underground. It is built to be a fortress. It is nigh impossible to break into, and security inside is extremely tight, meant to keep the citizens as safe as possible from threats by the Empire. Their are hundreds of tunnels, where some people can choose to live in. There are bars, living chambers, temples, armories, and other less-important buildings carved into the stone tunnels. These tunnels all lead to a central chamber, a massive circular chamber inside the hollowed-out highest peak of the mountain range.

The Anghor Mountains are the tallest and longest mountain range in all of the Ninja World. In its depths rests the great underground village of Chikagakure, but it stretches on for miles and miles outside of the village itself. They can be used to traverse hidden from the North to the South or vice versa from the Tundra Province to the southern point of the Mountain Province. The tops of the Anghors are covered with snow and extremely low temperatures due to the extreme elevation above sea level.

The Unmei Downs are the most infamous prison complex in the world. Currently controlled by the Underground Village, and therefore the rebellion, this complex holds the Empire's most dangerous soldiers, as well as some of the most deadly criminals. The Yamakage holds this prison to very high expectations, and expects his staff there to uphold an impenetrable security. It is frequently referred to as "The Inescapable Prison," the kage of the Mountain Province has performed his job to the letter.
