Attempting to Relax [Masuyo]

I needed to try and unwind a little, I was far too stressed out lately. I was walking around one of the dim lite parks of Chikagakure. That is one thing I missed more than anything about my home, the sunlight always shone bright through the crystal clear water. There I go again, reminiscing about something long gone...for now I just need to focus on the present and future. I was wearing a black suit with a grey dress shirt and a black tie, some would think it's a little too dressy but I really didn't care. I took a cigarette out of my pocket and lite it, taking a drag before continuing my walk through the park. Many people walked past me and greeted me as Commander, I would simply nod and keep walking, I should've known getting alone time would be difficult. I decided to stop and sit at a bench for a little bit, just to rest my legs.

"Dammit..."
This was not working, it just was not working. What had the world come to? Now Chika was subjected to being refuge for other villages, it was the only option but it pained her to see this type of suffering. Masuyo had to get away, but where to was the problem. No matter where she went there was something to make her even more angry. The last thing she needed was to be angry (and possibly break something in Bryn's house, he would not appreciate that). As she half stormed half strolled down the road, she tried to calm herself, short black hair looking a bit messy but at this point she couldn't give less of a damn.
Passing a stranger she picked up the familiar smell of smoke. Heavy yet oddly relaxing. Masuyo stopped and turned to the gentlemen in front of her, folding her arms over her chest.
"Mind sharing?"
She asked, gesturing to the white stick hanging from his teeth.

I was surprised when a woman had stopped in front of me and asked for me a cigarette. I looked at her took a puff from my cigarette and responded "No, smoking is bad for you." I then put the cigarette back in my mouth and stared at her waiting to see how she would respond to my smartassery.

Was this guy serious? Not only was Masuyo pissed about not getting what she asked for, but what he said made her feel like some sort of idiot. Of course she knew it was bad for her, and she didn't care!
"I know it's bad for me, and here's a news flash I don't care! So here's how it'll work, give me a cigarette and you get to keep your testicles."
Anyone who knew her knew she would take them too. She moved closer, keeping her firm posture and glaring at the man in front of her.

I chuckled at the womans response, she really had no idea who she was talking to. I wasn't going to ruin it just yet though, this scenario would be much more fun if she just thought I was a nameless nobody. I raised and eyebrow to her and said condescendingly " Really? So what if I were to do this." I then took out my pack of cigarettes and drew a kunai, stabbing it, making every cigarette in the pack completely useless. I then tossed the pack to her and said "Sorry about that, I knew I should've stored them in a separate pockets from my kunai." I would then chuckle and wait for her response.

Her jaw dropped in a silent gasp as he stabbed the pack, making every cigarette completely and utterly useless. As she caught the wounded pack her anger became all to clear. She screamed a curse and threw the package right at his head.
"What the hell is wrong with you?! Was it too much to ask to part with one cigarette?! Everyone is a complete IDIOT!"
She kicked a nearby trash can and sent it into the wall of an old building, then turned to the cigarette murderer.
"I'm too damn tired to kick your ass, count yourself lucky!"

My eyes widened as she threw the pack back at me. I caught it and watched as she kicked a trash can into an old building. This girl had a lot of pent up anger, more pent up anger than me. I figured I had been a little to harsh and I stood up laughing, reaching into my pocket pulling out my second pack and throwing the whole thing to her saying "Not that I'm afraid of you kicking my ass, but here, take these." I then patted her shoulder before going and getting the trash can she punted and setting it back up, this chick was interesting.

The stranger stood from his seat, and placed a second pack in her hand. She flinched and grimaced at his touch, how she hated non-violent physical contact. He walked over and set the trash can upright again, and Masuyo quickly ripped open the package. One slender white stick in her fingers, she turned back to the man as she stood up.
"I suppose I will have to rip this bench from it's spot and throw it over a house to get a light then?"
Of course she was joking...mostly anyway. She took a seat on the bench and sighed, at least she got what she asked for.

I laughed at her mention of the bench and said "Easy now Rambo, don't want to piss off the guards." I then took out my lighter and sparked it up offering to light it for her before saying "I'm Shizen" I then remembered the kunai in my other hand and began charging to put my signature seal on it, I might as well while it's out.

He offered his lighter and she quickly took the offer. The warm smoke felt very soothing, and she exhaled softly after along drag. Shizen, where had she heard that name before?
"While I find the Rambo comment quite funny, I would like to be called by my given name Masuyo."
She replied, a grin on her lips as she flicked the ashes of the cigarette onto the concrete. Where had she heard his name before? It irked her not knowing!

I continued charging chakra into my hand and said "Masuyo huh? That's a nice name can't say such a beautiful name matches a girl with your...demeanor." I hoped she didn't take that as me calling her ugly, I simply called her...callous, not what you'd expect from a woman.

"I happen to be very fond of my name think you very much! And what do I care about my demeanor? I'm proud of who I am and if anyone doesn't like it then who cares?"
She replied before taking another inhale of the cigarette. She kept mulling over how she knew his name...then it came to her.Her eyes opened slowly and she turned to look at Shizen.
"No I remember who you are, Shizen Tekuta, co-commander of the rebellion under Bryn."
More ashes fell onto the rocky earth beneath their feet, she was taking her time.

I finished charging and placed a flying raijin seal on the kunai I had out. I then said to Masuyo after taking a drag from my cigarette "I never said it was a bad thing, it was just unexpected, don't be so paranoid." She then finally realized who I was and I smiled saying "The one and only, and I don't like to think as myself being UNDER Bryn, more as we work together." I then felt like showing of the technique that made my famous and said "You wanna have a little race?" I would smirk mischievously and wait for her to respond.

Working with Bryn instead of beneath him, whatever floated his boat thought Masuyo. Her eyes glanced over at him as he mentioned a race, and she sighed letting out another puff of white smoke.
"With all due respect sir I came here to relax, at least allow me to finish my cigarette then I will gladly kick your ass in said race."
She smirked before placing the stick between her lips again.

I laughed and took a puff from mine before responding to her "Fair enough, perhaps if you're the betting type we can place something on this race." I finished my cigarette and dropped the butt on the ground, grinding it in with my foot while spinning my Raijin kunai on my right index finger as I waited for a response from the girl, this race was about to be so entertainingly unfair.

He laughed and finished his cigarette, stepping on it as it dropped to the pavement. A bet? Now he was speaking Masuyo's language, she leaned forward, placing her elbows on her knees as she removed the cigarette from her lips and exhaled.
"That depends, what are you thinking of in said bet?"
She inquired, flicking more ashes off the the side. She did wonder what he would say, it would depend on the parameters if she would agree or not.

Ah so she agreed, well now...what could I gain from this. I thought about it for a few seconds and smirked before saying "Well if I win, you have to admit your inferiority to me and hail me as your supreme superior, but if you win I will bow to your every whim for one week. Are you prepared to take this bet." I felt like the parameters were right down her alley, and it would be pretty interesting to see her calling me superior when I won.

So either humiliate herself, or get to humiliate the second in command of the rebellion. Tough choice she had to say.
"I hope you like being absolutely humiliated Shizen, I accept your bet."
She said, taking one last drag from the cigarette before flicking from her fingers and exhaling slowly. It landed just in front of her and she quickly snuffed it the toe of her shoe.

Good, this would be interesting. I threw the raijin kunai at a rock about 200 yards away and said "Alright, this is how it's gonna work, first one to that rock wins and because I'm such a nice guy, I'm gonna give you a 10 second head start." I chuckled lightly and patted Masuyo on the shoulder again, waiting for her to respond.

Her eyes followed the sharp weapon, and as it landed nearly 200 yards away she smirked. Shizen even gave her a ten second head start, oh this would be easy. Pushing herself up from the bench she grinned and stood beside him.
"I hope you can take embarrassment well."
She said in a mocking sing-song voice, and then began to run. Focusing solely on her target, she ran as fast as she could, laughing inside and out.

Hmm I didn't even say go yet and she started running? Oh well, It didn't change anything. I sat down at the bench and watched her run towards the rock, she was very fast, but not fast enough to match me. I began to countdown in my head. 1....2....3....4....5....6....7....8....9....10. Once I hit ten I activated the seal and in a blue flash I appeared at the rock and was leaning against it looking at Masuyo with a wide smile on my face, just as I had predicted, I won.

Each second that passed she got closer to the end point, and she smiled softly thinking how great it would be to use him as a foot stool. A blue flash caught her attention, and her jaw dropped as she saw Shizen leaning against the rock just smiling at her. Trying to come to a skidding halt, she slipped and ended up on her back about three feet from Shizen. Sitting up she glared at him.
"T-That isn't fair! You didn't RUN to the rock and in a race you run I demand a retry!"
She shouted standing up and brushing dirt off her clothes, obviously fuming mad.

I started laughing hysterically and then said to her with a grin "Did I ever say 'Run' to the rock? I simply said first to reach the rock was the winner, I never specified how you had to get there." I pulled the kunai from the rock and put it in my pocket before approaching Masuyo and offering her my hand to help her up, still laughing from the events that had transpired.

Masuyo opened her mouth once, twice, three time to try and object, only stuttering inhuman things. As he reached out to help her up laughing hysterically, she gave him the most evil glare she could and took hold of his hand.
"Yes alright fine, you are superior are you happy now?"
She grumbled, trying to keep from kicking him in the face right now. Defeat left a sour taste in her mouth, and she hated it. Damn him.

I sighed and said to her "Well you could've said it with a little more enthusiasm and maybe thrown in a Shizen-sama or two, but I suppose that will have to do." I laughed again but then put my hand on her shoulder and said "All joking aside you did quite well, and it would've been pretty difficult for me to catch up were it not for the flying Raijin jutsu." I said this with sincerity and a smile as I waited for a response.
