Attempting to Relax [Masuyo]

Her eyes rolled to look at the sky as he went on about how she could've said it more enthusiasm. Yes, because that was going to happen. He then went on, putting the jokes aside to commend her. Saying it would have been difficult to catch up had it not been for the use of his technique. She tired to hide the smile that wanted to come onto her face, but it managed a soft smirk anyway.
"Thank you, I still say you cheated, but I won't argue anymore."
She waved her hand, brushing away any anger she had at the given moment left.

I laughed and said "You call it cheating, I call it using a jutsu that took me years to perfect to my advantage." I began walking and gestured for her to follow, I wanted to talk to her more. I began speaking to her again "So, have you had any formal training as a ninja? Other than the academy stuff of course." I continued spinning my Raijin kunai around my finger as I spoke to her.

He began to walk away and gestured for her to follow, and slowly she complied. Following behind him at a slow, relaxed pace she sighed as he asked if she had any formal training outside the academy.
"Well, soon after I left the academy my father and step-mother were killed...and I would get into trouble...a lot. As part of my probation they trained me to once again fight for the village not against it, it's not exactly a time I am proud of, but it was training so whatever."
She wondered what their disbelieving face would look like now, knowing she was ANBU in rank and personally acquainted with the Kage himself. With a soft sigh she brushed a hand through her hair, trying to make it look more presentable instead of wind blown and messy.

Hmm so she was trained to be in the ANBU? Even so, I'm sure there was more she could be taught, there always was. I continued my questioning, "Do you happen to have any unique traits about you? Any kekkei-genkai or anything like that?" I wanted to get a basic image of what kind of ninja she was to see if I had anything I could offer her through training, she had already been trained by the ANBU, but honestly I believe being trained by the co-commander of the rebellion was more prestigious.

"Nope, just you basic run of the mill ninja really."
She shrugged, placing her hands behind her head as she walked. Nothing truly special about her, just a basic ninja with a bit of a bad attitude.
"Oh well, just because I don't have a fancy blood line or anything it doesn't mean I'm any less of a ninja then you or anyone else. Though I suppose given today's race I could use a bit more refinement..."

Ah so she was clanless like myself? I guess that was something we had in common. I decided to reassure her that she wasn't less of a ninja "You don't need a bloodline to be powerful, I just come from a rich farming family, nothing special about my blood. Although I was born with Ranton release for whatever reason." She then mentioned that she could use a little bit of refinement, and that was just begging me to say what I did next "Tell you what, if you are willing I will try and refine you into a more...precise ninja, from your personality I feel you have the 'hit them harder than they hit me' part of being a ninja down but you also need the 'know when and where to hit them harder than they hit me part' mastered as well. So, will you be willing to be this 'Cheaters' pupil?" I chuckled lightly and looked at her with an eyebrow raised, curious to here if she could swallow her pride enough to accept help or not.

Masuyo lifted an eyebrow in return and paused for a moment. Shizen could be a very good mentor, and he was correct on her style of fighting.
"Alright, if you promise not to cheat anymore."
She laughed, poking fun at him once again. A little training never hurt...figuratively speaking anyway.

I laughed and said "Well I can't promise that one." I then punched her arm lightly and continued walking. I needed to get a view on how she fights, to make sure my guess about it was correct. We had been walking a small clearing with a stone floor, this would be a good place to test out what she could do. I walked to the middle of the clearing and began to speak "Alrighty, first test, I want to see how you can do in a strictly taijutsu bout, I will use nothing but my hands and feet and I won't teleport using the flying raijin. I want to get a first hand look on how you fight." I then took of my suit jacket and rolled up the sleeves on my dress shirt before turning to masuyo, allowing her to prepare herself.

The light punch sent a soft grimace onto her face, oh she hated physical contact. But it would seem she would get a chance to repay him for the gesture. As soon as they walked into a clearing with a stone floor, he challenged her. Strictly taijutsu, no tricks from him or her this time. She smiled and felt her knuckles crack as she pressed her fist into her open palm.
"Fair enough, I could use a little work out anyway."
She said, shifting into a stance and watching Shizen closely. It wouldn't be easy, totally far from it in fact.

I assumed a stance with my legs shoulder width apart and my hands in front of me open, prepared to grab anything she threw at me. I didn't know why she was just standing there, I wanted to see what she could do therefore she'd have to catch on that she has to attack first.
